Health Care Leadership Improves Patient Experience Because It Shows Care 

Doesn’t it feel great when we receive good health care or have a good hospital visit? It makes the experience of seeing the doctor less stressful and uncomfortable. Imagine how many people would go to the doctor more regularly if we were able to reduce the anxiety of going to the doctor. The same is true when we can give good health care and give special attention to our patients. Read about this story of a couple who struggled with infertility and were only a few moments from delivering their new baby.

Life Changing Events 

Ann and Joe rushed to the hospital with excitement to welcome their first child. The journey was long and hard, as Ann & Joe, struggled with infertility. Good health care and a personal touch is what they valued most. This was more than just about a delivery. It was the baby that they had prayed for, had seen in their dreams, and the one that they envisioned raising together. When it comes to health care, you are providing not just the medical care but the experience to the patient. 

Dr. Peter is a Pediatrician with a growing practice with desires to expand his connections to the hospitals in his area, but has a hard time being able to leave the office because he has to manage his teams daily operations. Ann & Joe selected Dr. Peter to be their pediatrician & wants Dr. Peter to meet them at the hospital. Dr. Peter needs to have training for his staff so that he does not have to be at the office and can grow his practice with care. His staff is not communicating & connecting with the patients, following through with appointments, or working together as a team, which are needed for his to grow his practice. I worked hard to become certified by The John Maxwell Team, which is the #1 Leadership Training company in the world, but my real superpower is being a CEO as a mother of 3, and understanding the need for good health care personnel.

Dr. Peter, a Pediatrician, patients are precious and only a few hours old. His ability to visit Ann & Joe brought additional joy and special touch that he needed for his long term patients. With leadership training for his staff to discover how to communicate, work as a team, and connect with clients Dr. Peter was able to extend additional care.
